Hi Angus. I have been following your blog since the last time I saw you guys in Perth. I agree with everything you have written. I have slipped discs in my lower back and when things are bad the only people I have been able to count on have been my Mum and Dad who are 82 and 80, my oldest son Mike who is nearly 20 and my husband. I have heard so many times from friends and other family members 'If you need help, just ask' and when you do ask they are always too busy or can't be bothered. Keep your chin up mate and don't let anyone get you down. I hope you are on the mend and that the pain is easing. Take care of yourself... Annie

Ok. The cold air hose should be long enough for you to go between the radiator and bumper, place it there and you should have enough cold air for it.

You can make it shorter. The hose goes direct to the airbox, so it shouldn't have any hot air goes in. will be cool behind the bumper, just sit a bit lower. Let me see if I have any photos of the airbox on the car and will email that to you to look at. I don't own the EG anymore. It has been smashed and sold if you saw my posts a couple of months ago.

Thanks Angus,

is it a problem if I shorten (reduce) hose to l=30 to 40 cm ?

Air from outside flows directly to hose entry ? I asume that it would be problems with turbolence of airflow than...should it be on cool place but behind something ?

Hi Pen,

The hose located behind the bumper, I have cut a hole where people usually put their fog light there.
